About Copperstone Resort
Copperstone Resort is located just a few minutes drive east of Canmore, AB as you pass through Dead Man’s Flats on the way to Canmore from Calgary. It is a pet friendly (not all suites accommodate pets) short term rental condominium facility. All suites are privately owned and rented either directly from their owners or 3rd party property managers through rental sites like Airbnb, VRBO, Expedia or the owner’s own websites.

About Dead Man’s Flats
Dead Man’s Flats is a small hamlet on the eastern edge of city limits of Canmore. Dead Man’s Flats is now a rapidly growing and changing community from its historical roots of being not much more than a couple gas stations and road side motels. New premium lodging options, like Copperstone Resort, are available with others under development. More dining options are coming soon associated with these new commercial developments. Pigeon Creek, a quiet mountain fed creek runs through the community with Copperstone Resort nestled just on the southern edge of creek. There is also a provincial campground along the Bow River just a few hundred meters west of Copperstone Resort.
About Canmore
Canmore is a town in Alberta’s Rocky Mountains, about an hour drive west of Calgary. It’s known for craggy summits like the Three Sisters and Ha Ling Peak. In nearby Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park, the Grassi Lakes Trail weaves past a waterfall to 2 turquoise blue lakes. The park also features cross-country ski and mountain-bike trails. East, Grotto Canyon’s steep limestone walls flank a narrow creek bed leading to a cave. Canmore has a huge variety of indoor and outdoor sporting activities, a great selection of dining options for all budgets, local breweries and unique shopping and local artisans.
